Happy Book Day
Last week we celebrated the book day and the cultural week. We did lots of activities but we want to focus on one. We talked about Roald Dahl, a very special and famous writer. He was born in Llandaff, Wales, UK. He wrote many books. Allf of them are wonderful stories but we did not have time to read them all. That is why we chose Matilda, James and the Giant Peach and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
In the first cycle we learnt about the story of Matilda, an incredible little girl who has fantastic powers. She loves reading. She is so clever but it seems her parents don´t care at all. One day she meets Miss Honey, a sweet and kind teacher. If you want to find out what happens in the end... you can only do one thing. Read the book! You won´t regret it.
Tomorrow we will upload the characters of this great book. You´ll see. We are a group of wonderful artists!

The wolf
The wolf is a
carnivore. It eats meat from other animals.
Wolves have
four legs and a tail.
Animals with
bones are called vertebrates.
Wolves are viviparous animals because they are born from their
mother’s womb.
Wolves are
mammals.
They drink
their mother’s milk.
Their bodies
are covered with hair.
This week we will upload the pictures of our favourite mammals. See you soon!

Hi there! How are you?
We have returned to tell you about these special days:
1. SAINT VALENTINE´S DAY
We have returned to tell you about these special days:
1. SAINT VALENTINE´S DAY
Saint Valentine's Day is on February 14 each year. It is celebrated in many
countries around the world, although it is not a holiday in most of them.
We had so
much fun. It was a happy day! We did a lot of things: we ate chocolate, we
danced and we made these adorable butterflies. Aren´t they nice?
2. CARNIVAL
We organized
a contest and we designed these wonderful posters. Can you recognize them? Of
course you can. They are The Flintstones!
3. PANCAKE DAY
It is not a
day just to eat pancakes. We know they are yummy but there is a story behind
this. Pancake
Day is on Tuesday March 4. Pancakes are
now forever associated with Shrove Tuesday as it is a sort of all-in-one way of
using up some fatty foods before Lent.

Healthy Habits
Do you remember the food groups? When we eat food from all the food groups, we are healthy.
But, we also need to respect these habits:
Sleep about ten hours every night.
Wash your hands before you eat or touch food.
Brush your teeth after every meal.
